• Annie is a dog that was at our shelter for 9 years until one special
lady decided to take her home. I adopted Orphan Annie on June 13th. Now
that she is no longer an orphan I tell everyone she is just Annie. So
our family and friends call her Just Annie, or more affectionately known
to me as my special Annie Jo. She loves our home. I originally enclosed
the deck and Annie just ate her way through the wood and out to the freedom
of her yard and her new lawn. So now my 2 cats play in the deckhouse and
Annie plays wherever she wants to! She was pretty shy about coming in
the house as the TV really freaked her out. Now she sits in the living
room and watches with me. I absolutely love my new girlfriend and do not
know how I lived without her for so long. She loves walks and kisses (which
also freaked her out initially) and she loves her cat roommates. She takes
my belongings..shoes..socks..t-shirts out in the yard but just lays with
them while I’m at work and brings them back in the house eventually. She
is my forever dog and I am her forever human.
• “Jack…the man of the house.” Everybody told us that Jack Russells can be quite
a handful, but that little puppy at PAWS needed a loving home and family who
would understand him. Now he’s the man of the house, coming and going from his
doggie door all day long, with full run of the house. One walk on the river
trail every morning, another walk in the neighborhood at late afternoon. He
loves to lean on the couch and look outside the big picture window. He’s the
friendliest dog we’ve ever had and he’s been nothing but a joy. He’s our little
man and we hope to give him a long and wonderful life.
• We adopted a cocker spaniel you named Bingo. His name is now Duke. He was a
perfect addition to our family. We got him shaved shortly after adopting and
he looks like a different dog--fat---but beautiful!!!!! He is great with our
other dog and sleeps every night with our 9 year old son. We love him and he
loves us and THANK YOU...
